Controversial 'Nazi Inspired' Winter Olympic Snowboard Poster

There's quite a  kerfuffle in Russia at the minute as a result of a controversial advertising campaign that allegedly uses fascist-inspired imagery...

The Guardian has an article today that describes the reaction: 'The campaign employs images of blue-eyed, blond sportsmen and women which have been described by critics as "neo-Hitlerite" and "like something from a Leni Riefenstahl film".'
Original Nazi Winter Olympic art from the 1936 Winter Olympics - which you can buy on AllPosters if you're that way inclined
'Images of an Aryan-looking snowboarder and an ice-skater gazing into the middle distance dominate giant billboards in Moscow and feature on the cover of brochures to advertise Gorky Gorod, an elite housing complex being built at Krasnaya Polyana near Sochi on Russia's Black Sea coast. The complex is a private-public partnership which will be the Olympic media village at the 2014 Games.'
Gorky Gorod, not for you're average punter
The images were produced by Doping-Pong, which according to the Guardian use 'a swastika as one of its online "banners".'
and this is their Twitter logo
'One of the company's recent projects is a series of erotic photographs of two young women, one called a "fa" (fascist), the other an "antifa" (anti-fascist activist), who grapple with each other in a wrestling ring and tear off each other's clothes. The "fa" appears to win the fight and triumphantly wraps herself in a Nazi flag.'
They might just be a little 'Max Mosley' and just like smut in general though. Most of their video projects are a bit porny.
Yup, this ticks all the controversial boxes
Here's some more stuff Doping-Pong have done around the Olympics:
Nothing Nazi here, just a girl with a coke problem and massive cheeks.
Sinister Santa. A tad Nazitastic
A lot going on here, looks like they are viciously gunning down a Nazi though, which would  count against them being Nazi supporters
OK very Nazi
Looking through their portfolio very little of it could be considered to be fascist inspired, and like all good news sources we've just pulled out the most controversial. What do you think: Nazi or Not Nazi?

Get fucked. Go back to eating Cheetos in your mother's basement, you consumerist bourgeois hedonist scum and stay out of Russia's affairs.

Fucking Westerners. Decadent themselves and want to tell everyone else how to live.

  2. That last is straight up Young Pioneer -- i.e. Commie, you twits.

As for much of the rest, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with celebrating the beauty of white people.

  4. Somewhat anime looking blonde Russian girl in the last pic is wearing a red scarf...anyone knowing anything about Russian or Communist history would recognize her as a member of the Young Pioneers, the Soviet equivalent of the Scouts.

  6. Well Nazi. And Gorky Gorod has clearly been designed with the help of 'Asterix in Switzerland'.
